Dylan makes it to Japan!

Dylan's visit happened to coincide with the Sukagawa Taimatsu Akashi (Sukagawa city torch festival), which was cool. So that meant lots of festival food, which explains the rubbery looking squit that he's chowing down on.

And no visit to Shirakawa is complete without a night at Tarafuku, our favourite (and only?) izakaya (Japanese pub). Tim decided that it was time to break out the flapcap. I don't think it really matters how cold it is, I don't think it'll ever be cold enough for me to wear one of those.

At the fire festival

The great thing about Tarafuku is the awesome beer. It comes in 1L glasses which have been frozen. And they're bigger than Dylan's head...
